FreeCaller For S60 FreeCaller is an open source software that displays a full screen picture of a caller upon an incoming call. It uses pre-attached photos, and its own incoming call screen, that replaces the native nokia "bubble". The screen displays a full scale photo of the caller, its name and phone number. The current version is not very customizable, but a planned next version will include more customizations and extra features. For feature request, feel free to use the forums on SourceForge. This project is a part of a larger effort, to bring more Free and Open Source software into the Symbian platform. It is a free software, and you are welcomed to view, edit and use the code as you see fit. Remarks are more than welcomed, and I will do my best to improve this software, and deliver more free open source software for the Symbian Platform. Install FreeCaller Due to nokia's security policy, Installation first requires signing the application. I am not able to distribute a signed copy, because the high cost of the cerificates. Signing a private copy of the application is free of charge, and can be done in the symbian signed web site. After it is signed, installation is done by running the .sis file on the phone. Use FreeCaller Once FreeCaller is started, it shows an empty list of known contacts. A menu is provided to add/remove contacts from the list. Use 'Options => Add Contact' to add a picture to the repository. Now, whenever you get an incoming call from that contact, the picture will pop up. To delete a contact use the 'c' button, or the menus. Notice that adding or removing of contacts has no effect on the phone book, and the data is stored internally in FreeCaller private path.
