What it is: ----------- EPSConverter is a little group-image-convert tool, it is a extension of convert.exe of ImageMagick with better eps/pdf support and wildcard characters (*?), just the windows version of xConvert which is written by hooklee(www.chinatex.org), ^_^. I made it for the convenience of those paper writers who use Latex. Feel free to download it and try it. If you liked it, let me know! And if you find any problem when using it please also donot hesitate to send me a mail: tfzhou@cad.zju.edu.cn Web site: --------- http://www.cad.zju.edu.cn/home/tfzhou/temp/EPSConverter.rar How to use it: -------------- 1.install ImageMagick, which could be down at http://www.imagemagick.org/www/download.html 2.find "convert.exe" at the install path of ImageMagick and change it to "iconvert.exe" 3.use EPSConverter: it contains input and output information which u could modify, include the input files and file format, the output location and format 4.enjoy it! Current bug: ---------------- 1.when convert .gif file to other file format, the suffixes are added to the wrong location, for it is done by ImageMagic so i could do nothing. 2.when the input or output path include " "(blank), the output file would be put in source location despite user select "browse location", i'll fix this defect ASAP. Installation ------------ before use EPSConverter, you should install imagemagick software at http://www.imagemagick.org/www/download.html or http://www.cad.zju.edu.cn/home/tfzhou/temp/ImageMagick.rar EPSConverter need not to install. Requirements: ------------- Windows. For sure EPSConverter will work only on Win XP, Win 2K or NT, and not ME, 95 or ***. Even if you have the right window system, it is not guaranteed to work: on some system it will just not. Sorry! I had to tune it to make it work on more and more systems. When I'll have time, I'll try to fix it. More Info --------- At the web site! License ------- EPSConverter is just freeware. Use it and distribute it if you like. But, in no case you are allowed to sell it, or to distribute copies that are you've changed in any way. Also, if you distribute it you must give both files jointly, that is the exec ("EPSConverter.exe" and this file "readme.txt").
