TFTP PACKAGE README CONTENTS * Introduction * System Requirements & Installation * Package Documentation * Contacting Us INTRODUCTION Thank you for downloading the LCM Software TFTP Package. The TFTP Package is a Java implementation of the TFTP protocol standard. It supports all features of the standard and allows you to add any custom features you may want. Using the TFTP Package you can easily implement both TFTP clients and servers that fully supports the TFTP standard with minimal coding. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS & INSTALLATION The TFTP Package uses some features that are only available in the Java Platform 1.2 or later, so it won't work with Java 1.1 and earlier versions. To install the package just create a folder and unzip the package there, getting the following files: readme.txt - this file license.txt - product license changelog.txt - product version history tft.jar - package JAR file Additionally, the following folders are also created: examples - sample programs doc - package documentation Remember to add the package JAR file to the classpath in order to use the package (consult your Java Platorm documentation). PACKAGE DOCUMENTATION The TFTP Package is provided with full on-line documentation, accessible through the file index.html, in the package documentation folder. Fully commented example programs are also provided to help understanding and using the package. The examples can be found in the sample programs folder. Compiled versions of the example programs are also provided so that you can try them right away.
