Horse Racing
VB6 Only as a Rich TextBox Control 6.0 SP4 is used.
Demonstrates the use of placing sound and multi icons in a resource file. Stop, start and looping sound (wav) files - Easy enough to follow when reading the sound module. Resetting moving images, in this case horses, back to their original starting position. Uses Random so each time the app is run the same horse will not win. Also demonstrates the use of a simple splash screen.
File size is rather large for a demo and that is due to graphics and sound. Should anyone want the graphics, sound and icons to play with, they can be downloaded from http://www.mjvn.co.za/rodcom/ under the Download section.
Additional info: To see the multi-icons the code will have to be compiled and a short cut placed on the desktop, or wherever you want it.
