README.TXT: WindML 3.0 for Tornado 2.2, Tornado 2.1.x, and Tornado 2.0.x Please read the WindML 3.0 Release Notes shipped with the product. It contains important information regarding host requirements, installation and run-time issues. Up-to-date product bulletins, information on known problems and fixes/changes made in this release, and essential reference documentation can be obtained from the Wind River Online Support web site. Installation: ----------------- The WindML 3.0 release notes identify the process to install WindML 3.0. Included are the procedures for upgrading from WindML 2.0.x. Getting Started ----------------- The WindML 3.0 SDK Programmer's Guide should be consulted to configure WindML and develop applications. The WindML 3.0 Release Notes identify the reference driver used to validate WindML 3.0. New users should review the instructions provided in the Getting Started and Configuration chapters of the Programmer's Guide. In addition, the following directories contain the latest information about driver and BSP changes: $(WIND_BASE)/target/src/ugl/bsp/config/ $(WIND_BASE)/target/h/ugl/driver/ Problems that are known within WindML 3.0 are listed in the Known problems list on Wind River Online Support web site. The information on support web site may include updates to release notes or documentation, critical bug fixes, software upgrades, new drivers, or other helpful information. Obsolete APIs --------------- In addition to the obsolete APIs mentioned in the WindML 3.0 release notes, the following WindML 2.x APIs have been obsoleted and are no longer in the product. uglFontSizeSet uglFontWeightSet uglFontRotationAngleSet In WindML 3.0, the functionality provided by these APIs is now provided by uglFontInfo. See the reference documentation for more information.
