This is a simple console application that extracts the serial number of
the first IDE HDD.
Requires Windows 95 OSR2, Windows ***, Windwos *** SE, Windows ME,
Windows NT4 or Windows 2000.
IMPORTANT NOTE for Windows 9x:
SMARTVSD.VXD MUST be installed: just copy it from \windows\system to
\windows\system\iosubsys and reboot.
To build this example:
0. Open command prompt window.
1. Set the value the environment variable "Delphi" to the path where
Delphi 4+ is installed, for example:
> set Delphi=C:\Progam Files\Borland\Delphi7
2. Run Build.bat from this directory.
3. Start BIN\IdeSN.exe
