In this directory, there are all the main front-end files that allow you to use
the Fast Lifted Wavelet Transform (FLWT) with 1-D and 2-D signals/images. There
is an easy-to-use command line interface that includes the main feautures that
can be manipulated for the user. As an example of the application of the FLWT,
there are two interesting options :
-f = uses the FLWT to apply a filter to the input file. A simple
API appears with options to the user.
-w = uses the FLWT to create the 1-D or 2-D Wavelet function by putting
a one in the middle of a zeroed image and applying the inverse.
To install the package, type 'make install' in the command line. All the files
will be compiled to create three libraries (libfile.a, libutil.a, and
libflwt.a) in the ./lib subdirectory, and the executable flwt in the ./bin
subdirectory.
Edit the file make.env if you want to change compiler, edit the compiler
flags, or change any other common environmental variables.
Another simple way to try various compilation options without reediting
make.env every time is to to use (under bash, ksh or sh)
