------------------------------------- TMS320C24X EVM SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS Revision 1.00 ------------------------------------- This diskette comtains several software applications which were designed using the TMS320C24x evaluation board. These software applications can be used to test each of the on-board peripherals (LEDs, DIP switches, DAC, and external memory). The program files enclosed on the diskette include the following: leds.asm dips.asm dac.asm mem_test.asm f240regs.h leds.bat dips.bat dac.bat mem_test.bat readme.txt leds.cmd dips.cmd dac.cmd mem_test.cmd leds.obj dips.obj dac.obj mem_test.obj leds.out dips.out dac.out mem_test.out A one line summary of each software application included with the EVM is given below. Refer to the specific text file for more details on the specific software application. Application Description =========== ============================================================ leds Lights the LEDS of the EVM test board in sequential order. dips Lights the LEDS of the EVM test board corresponding to which DIP switch is turned on. dac Creates 4 sine waves by using each channel of the digital to analog converter of the EVM board. mem_test Tests the data memory locations B0,B1,B2,and External data memory. Each of the software applications contains six program files. A brief description of each type of file is given below: File Description ========= ========================================================= .asm The assembly language source file for the s/w application. .cmd Linker command file for the software application. .bat A batch file which assembles and links the s/w application .obj An object file generated by the assembler. .out An output file generated by the linker. .txt A text file describing the software application.
