This program is an encryption and decryption program. You can encrypt and decrypt your files in a snap. Because this program uses the DES algorithm and also compresses the files, it's virtually impossible to crack. Still, I cannot guarantee you that your files will be 100% safe. Please NOTE: You may only use JVDE EBackup 2.50 Standard on a personal non-profit base. For commercial usage, please register JVDE EBackup 2.50 Pro. JVDE EBackup 2.50 Pro also gives much benefits for personal usage. Installation: -------------- 1. Unzip the EBak250.zip file to a temporary directory (eg. c:\temp) using pkunzip or WinZip (http://www.winzip.com). 2. Execute the Setup.exe file and follow the setup instructions. 3. After you have installed JVDE EBackup successfully, you can execute it via Start => Programs => JVDE EBackup 2.50 => JVDE EBackup 2.50 Standard. System requirements: -------------- - Pentium processor recommended. - Windows 95/***. - 2 MB free hard drive space. - Winsock drivers. - Recent version of ComCtl32.dll. A screen resolution of 800x600 and a screen color resolution of 16 bit or higher is recommended. New to version 2.50: ---------- - Added a Self-Extractor, so other people who haven't installed JVDE EBackup will be able to decrypt JBK files. This feature is only available in the Pro version of JVDE EBackup. - Auto-Update-Check has been removed from the Pro version. - Auto-Update-Check is now timed out: when JVDE EBackup cannot connect to server after 5 seconds, Auto-Update-Check will be cancelled. - The Wipe Function strength has been slightly increased. - Various bug fixes and minor improvements. Features since version 2.40: ---------- - Encrypt and decrypt your files in a snap.
