Copyright 2008-2013, The MathWorks, Inc. Requirements: ------------------------- The minimum requirements for this demo are MATLAB, Simulink, and Simscape version R2009b or later. Running the demo: ------------------------- R2009a thru R2012a: Open the model ssc_battery_management_R2009a.mdl. Note that the battery parameters M-files are loaded automatically in the battery block's OpenFcn callback. You can right-click on the battery or alternator and go to "block choice" to change the alternator or battery size. If you change the battery block, the appropriate parameters are automatically loaded into the MATLAB workspace. R2012b and later: Open ssc_battery_management_R2012a.slx and simulate. Adjust the settings of the orange blocks to change component sizes and settings. Notes: ------------------------- 1. There is a version of the model ssc_sf_battery_management_R2009a.mdl that uses Stateflow to control idle RPM compensation to maintain the battery voltage and alternator duty cycle. For R2012b, the controller is in the single model ssc_battery_management_R2012a.slx, but is commented out. Using this part of the demo requires a Stateflow installation and license. 2. There are additional alternator choices labeled "MBC", high-fidelity alternator models which require Model-Based Calibration Toolbox to be installed. If you select these and do not have Model-Based Calibration Toolbox, you will get a simulation error.
