This directory contains 9 example programs: example1 contains an example program that reads the 3 stereo images from a file and outputs a disparity image. example2 reads stereo images from the device and outputs the disparity and reference images. example3 puts the disparity image continuously from the device to the screen. NOTE: example3 is out of data and not supported any more. Please see the SimpleWin directory in 'triclops\win32\src' for a windows example. example4 performs subpixel interpolation on stereo images from the device and writes out a 16-bit disparity image as well as a three-dimensional point cloud (XYZ coordinates). example5 reads stereo images from the device and applies regions of interest (ROIs) before outputting the disparity and reference images. example6 continuously calculates and prints the exact and averaged distance near the center of the image. example7 prints out the camera library version and camera configuration information. example8 grabs an image from a Digiclops, and performs stereo on it using the 2-camera stereo kernel. example9 demonstrates how widebaseline stereo can be created based on the input from two cameras and their transformation. All example programs are included with the necessary sample data to run. Examples 1, 7 and 8 require the ability to read PPM and PGM format image files. This support is supplied in the files in 'src/pnmutils'. This package also has a full suite of input and output functions for reading and writing PPM and PGM files.
