It's engine derived's from the Java Neural Network Framework - Neuroph and as such it can be used as a standalone project or a Neuroph plug in. ...Instructions The archive contains 2 files and one folder. The folder lib contains the libraries used for the creation of the java Handwriting Recognition Tool, up to this moment there is only one librarie, the Java Neural Network Framework - Neuroph, which is used to recognize the written letters. The file neuralNetwork.nnet represents the trained network, and it will be automatocly loaded as you start the application. The main part of the application is the file jHRT.jar which is started by double clicking, from there on you can test the application by writteng letters and checking the recognition success of your handwritting. ...NOTE This is still the alpha versio of the application, so keep in mind that the rate of recognition success is still not at the level that we will be happy with.
