GReplace is a FREE tool to: * Find and optionally replace strings in files * With multiple replacements made in one pass. * Supports all text (pas, dpr, cpp, etc) files as well as binary conversion of Delphi dfm files * Allows case (in)sensitive and whole word only matching * With optional processing of subdirectories * Option to fix Unit Name Identifiers for Delphi 6 compiler warning +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ HOW TO USE: The interface is fairly self explanatory. On the Source Tab, you can type multiple file types into the combo, e.g. dfm;dof;cfg;dpr On the Destination Tab you can type in a new directory name and it will be created. The Case Insensitive option allows a case insensitive match, but this can take a bit longer. The exact case of the replacement string is inserted when replacing. The Whole Words Only option on the Destination uses the following delimiters: #0, #9, #10, #13, ' ', '#', '$', '&', '''', '(', ')', '*', '+', ',', '-', '.', '/', ':', ';', '<', '=', '>', '@', '[', ']', '^', '{', '}' The Find Matching Files option prevents any file copying to the Destination and returns the list of files with any matches. The Copy Unchanged Files option copies unchanged as well as changed files to the destination. The Fix Unit Name Identifiers option works by adding .pas file names to the find/replace lists. When using this option the Case Insensitive and Whole Words Only options should also be checked. There is also another way to import unit names from .pas or .dcu files: Go to the Source tab and set the directory to the directory you want to scan. Set the Files of Type combo to ".pas;.dcu" Click the Show Matching Files button Check the box on the dialog "Add .pas,.dcu names to replacement strings" Remove the .dcu file type from the File Type combo, since you won't want to edit these files. A large replace operation can be Paused. Click Go to continue.
