(Controller area network bus (CAN Controller, Area Network) is a serial communication protocol for real-time application of the bus, it can use a twisted pair to transmit the signal, is the world's one of the most widely used field bus. The CAN protocol is used to communicate between different components of an automobile to replace the expensive and bulky wiring harness. The robustness of the protocol extends its use to other automation and industrial applications. The characteristics of CAN protocol include serial data communication, integrity to provide real-time support, the transmission rate of up to 1Mb/s, also has 11 bit addressing and error detection capability.)
