FTDI drivers for Olimex OpenOCD debuggers. ---DESCRIPTION AND COMPATIBILITY--- These drivers are suitable for specific software products! Use these drivers when you want to work with "Rowley CrossStudio for ARM" or with "CooCox IDE". These drivers are also suitalbe for any other ARM software tool that recommends FTDI drivers. These drivers are NOT suitable for OpenOCD versions 0.9.0 and newer (use WinUSB drivers instead). These drivers are NOT suitable for OpenOCD versions older than 0.9.0 (use LibUSB drivers instead). If you are going to use OpenOCD use the Zadig installer for easier driver installation. These FTDI drivers are suitable for the following OLIMEX OpenOCD debuggers that incorporate FTDI2232 IC: ARM-USB-TINY ARM-USB-OCD ARM-USB-TINY-H ARM-USB-OCD-H The drivers are also suitable for a combination of any of the mentioned JTAG debuggers and the SWD adapter ARM-JTAG-SWD. ---HOW TO INSTALL--- Uninstall and delete any drivers that you previously installed. Plug the debugger and navigate to "Windows Device Manager". Make sure everything related to your debugger is uninstalled (plug the device and check what new entries pop-up, if you need disconnect it from the USB and then plug it again). You should see two unrecognized devices. At this point you can use dp-chooser.exe and follow the on-screen prompt to install the FTDI drivers. Alternatively, you can manually update the firmware of the unrecognized devices. Navigate to "Windows Device Manager" and right-click over one of the two unrecognized devices. Select "Update Driver Software...", then point the driver update interface to the folder where you extracted this archive. Repeat the same operation for every unrecognized device related to the debugger. --- The drivers are derived from the official D2XX FTDI drivers v2.12.04. The original ftdibus.inf and ftdiport.inf files were edited to suit the Olimex debuggers. The resulting drivers match the VID of OLIMEX (15BA), and the PID of each OLIMEX OpenOCD debugger. ---
