ChipScope Digilent Plugin for version 10.1, 11.1, 11.2 and 11.3 (might work with other version also) for nt(x86) and nt***(amd***) releases. The DLLs and XML file can be found in setup directory of Digilent under ChipScopePlugin, default: - C:\Program Files\Digilent\ChipScopePlugin\ or - C:\Program Files (x86)\Digilent\ChipScopePlugin\ To use with ChipScopeAnalyzer: - in directory //plugins/ - create the Digilent and libCseDigilent directories, example: C:\Xilinx\11.2\ChipScope\xilinx\lib\nt\plugins\Digilent\libCseDigilent\ C:\Xilinx\11.2\ChipScope\xilinx\lib\nt***\plugins\Digilent\libCseDigilent\ - copy the proper libCseDigilent.dll and libCseDigilent.xml file to libCseDigilent - in ChipScope Analyzer under the "JTAG Chain" menu select "Open plug-in..." and type: digilent_plugin. To use with EDK: - in directory $XILINX\lib\\plugins - create Digilent\libCseDigilent directories, example: C:\Xilinx\11.2\ISE\lib\nt\plugins\Digilent\libCseDigilent\ C:\Xilinx\11.2\ISE\lib\nt***\plugins\Digilent\libCseDigilent\ - copy the propper libCseDigilent.dll and libCseDigilent.xml files to libCseDigilent - call with: "XMD% connect mb mdm -cable type xilinx_plugin modulename digilent_plugin" Some boards support speed setting (Basys2, FullSpeed USB cable...) other have fixed JTAG frequency (about 1.7 MHz has JTAG-USB Cable, Nexsys1 and 2, Genesys...). Use the frequency argument to specify the serialization speed, like for 1.2 MHz: > digilent_plugin frequency=1200000 When there is only one Digilent board with JTAG capability the digilent_plugin will open that one. When there is more than one board the list of these will be printed but none of them opened. Use the device argument with device name or serial number to connect to a device from many, like: > digilent_plugin device=123456789012
