On this page you can find Preisach hysteresis models implemented in Matlab. With these codes you can: - approximate measured hysteresis loops - simulate arbitrary minor hysteresis loops - plot the Preisach function, the Everett function, the reversible component 1. Classical Preisach model with pointwise Everett function - Preis_class_point.zip - Algorithm_Preis_class_point.pdf 2. Preisach models with closed form Everett function The Preisach function is considered as a product of two special one dimensional functions, which allows the analytical evaluation of the Everett integral. The derived expressions are included in static and dynamic hysteresis models, which are fast enough to be incorporated in electromagnetic software. - Preis_class_AnEv.zip (with Matlab GUI, optimization to fit measured data) - Preis_class_AnEv_a.zip (can be run with Octave/Matlab, plots the static loops presented at Compumag 2015) - Algorithm_Preis_class_AnEv.pdf 3.
