USB-HOST EXAMPLE FOR THE RENESAS YRDKRX63N, REVISION 3.2 This example project demonstrates how to initialize uC/USB-Host with HID, MSC, CDC-ACM, and FTDI classes. MICRIUM PRODUCT VERSIONS - uC/OS-II v2.92.13 - uC/OS-III v3.06.02 - uC/CPU v1.31.01 - uC/LIB v1.38.02 - uC/CLK v3.09.03 - uC/FS v4.07.03 - uC/USB-Host v3.41.04 IDE/COMPILER VERSIONS - IAR/EWRX v3.10.3 HARDWARE SETUP - Connect USB Mini B cable to J-Link port - Connect a RS-232 cable to COMM port for terminal output - Connect a USB Mini B cable to the USER USB port - Configure SW6 for host mode as shown on the back of the board WORKSPACE LOCATIONS - Renesas/YRDKRX63N/USB-Host//IAR/USB-Host.eww BUILD CONFIGURATIONS - Several build configurations are available with this project: source A full source build that generates an executable libgen A full source build that generates a library library A partial source build that links with the library created by "libgen" - The "library" configuration can be run by users who do not have access to the source code for Micrium products. - Users with access to the product source code can copy it into Micrium/Software/ and use the "source" and "libgen" configurations. - Select the appropriate configuration that suits your needs by clicking on Project->Edit Configurations... USAGE INSTRUCTIONS - Open a terminal connection with 115200 baud rate in order to see output from the application. - Open the workspace in IAR. - Press F7 to build the project and Ctrl+D to start the debug session. - Accept default J-Link hardware configuration. - Once the debug session has started, press F5 to run the example. - uC/FS will initialize first and mount the MSC driver for uC/USB-Host. - After uC/FS initializes, uC/USB-Host will initialize with HID, MSC, CDC-ACM, and FTDI classes all at once. - You may connect to the board a USB mouse, a USB keyboard, a USB thumb drive, a USB-to-Serial adapter, or a USB modem such as the USR Model 5637. - With every USB device you connect, notice the different outputs on the terminal window exercising each class.
