(Face's technical standards define the computing environment and interfaces to assist in the development of portable components. For each version of a formally published technical standard, you can use the face conformance toolset to determine whether a particular component meets the face technical standard. Once the software supplier is sure that the software components meet the requirements, a verification package will be provided to an independent verification organization for conformance testing. After successfully passing the certification body test, the certification package can be submitted to the certification body for face certification.
