Installation 1. The necessary files extract to the C:\Cabs folder and create a sub-folder using the name of the driver part number. 2. The file 9537816.iso is located in the C:\Cabs\9547816 folder. The ISO needs to be burned to a CD. Please check your burning software documentation for instructions on how to burn an ISO image to CD. 3. After burning the CD, the CD should contain two files: BOOTCAT.BIN and BOOTIMG.BIN. 4. Shut down Windows and restart the computer, leaving the newly burned CD in the optical drive. 5. A menu displays with two options. The first option is T3516a NTSC and the second is E4094 PAL. Select the computer model you have by pressing the ARROW KEYS, and then press ENTER. 6. The computer flashes the BIOS appropriate for your computer. When complete the computer restarts. When the eMachines logo displays, you can remove the CD from the optical drive. 7. If a checksum errors occurs, Press the F1 key, otherwise press F2 to enter the BIOS Setup Utility. 8. Press the F9 key to load optimal default settings, and then select OK to accept. 9. Press the F10 key to Save and exit, and then select OK to accept. Removal This driver provides proper functionality of multiple system devices; therefore removal instructions for this driver and related files are not provided. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, download the file again, and then perform the installation steps for a second time.
