IEEE 1609.4 Experiments ====================== This is a simple experiment to show the usage of ns-3 WAVE 1609.4 model. In the experiment, we need to do the following: CreateNodes (); SetupMobility (); CreateWaveDevice (); AssignChannelAccess (); InstallApplication (); Using four simulation shell files, we actually complete four experiments based on a single simulation source code file. (1) simulation-continuous The WAVE devices here will be assigned continuous access for default CCH channel. (2) simulation-alternating The WAVE devices here will be assigned alternating access for default 50ms CCHI on CCH chanel and default 50ms SCHI on SCH channel. (3) simulation-alternating-80-20 The WAVE devices here will be assigned alternating access for 80ms CCHI on CCH chanel and 20ms SCHI on SCH channel. (4) simulation-alternating-20-80 The WAVE devices here will be assigned alternating access for 20ms CCHI on CCH chanel and 80ms SCHI on SCH channel. How to run ? =========== (1) Make ns-3 environment ready. (Please refer to ns-3-dev/README.txt) (2) Copy this folder to ns-3-dev/scratch (3) cd to ns-3-dev/scratch/ieee16094 (4) run simulation shell files. (a) ./simulation-continuous (b) ./simulation-alternating (c) ./simulation-alternating-80-20 (d) ./simulation-alternating-20-80 The experiment results ====================== The results contain pdr(packet delivery ratio), prr(packet reception ratio), pad(packet average delay), system throughput and average throughput. The calculation process is implemented in the experiment. However I am not sure whether my own understanding and implement appraoch is right or not.
