# Respiratory Rate Estimation Algorithms
This repository contains algorithms for estimation of respiratory rate from the electrocardiogram and photoplethysmogram.
It is compatible with several [publicly available datasets](http://peterhcharlton.github.io/RRest/datasets.html).
Together, the algorithms and datasets provide tools to assist researchers in the development and evaluation of their own RR algorithms for estimation of RR from physiological signals.
## User Manual
The accompanying [Wiki](https://github.com/peterhcharlton/RRest/wiki) acts as a user manual for the algorithms presented in this repository.
## Publications
The algorithms presented in this repository have been used in several studies, with each version of algorithms corresponding to a different publication.
A helpful starting point would be to try to replicate the results presented in this [tutorial](http://peterhcharlton.github.io/RRest/waveform_analysis.html).
