This new Portable Applet implements in pure Java 1.15, my C++ restoreInpaint code on two important domains: Fast Restoration and Color Enhancement. The code follows the same conventions in C++ and Java, with small reductions. I decide, in Java, to avoid double when possible, to reduce memory costs. Thanks to Danny Barash, for making useful suggestions. NEW: (31/05/2004, Brussels) ==== The Applet feature better html presentations. Restoration is seriously enhanced: littleRestoration.html --------------------------------------------------------- 1) All semi-implicit and implicit solvers, have image boundary correction!!! 2) A new implicit AMOS fast restoration is provided. In principle more accurate than AOS. 3) AOS are now faster. 4) Experimental Pyramidal AOS is provided, but not completely operational.(Wrong interpolation) Retinex color enhancement is more documented: littleRetinex.html Crack Removal: littleCrackRemoval.html not modified ============= Added also: time evaluation in ms, when changing images. IIR are really fast. Thanks to Van Vliet nice papers. Bugs: Some trouble in Multiresolution, perhaps a weak pointer, or a boundary exception. In principle, a simple problem. ----- To do: ------ More multiresolution. Testing and providing full 2D Conjugate Gradient Solvers. NEW: (12/05/2004, Brussels) ==== The Applet is in Beta for Fast crack removal: "LittleCrackRemoval.html" example, (accuracy should be rechecked) I had a more structured HTML, to ease the reading process. This will be extended later for other demonstrations. The Applet is in Beta for Fast restoration: "LittleRestoration.html" example The Applet is in Alpha for Fast restoration: "LittleRetinex.html" example, (accuracy should be rechecked) The Applet support now scaled/dynamic scrolling, image selection, master/slave scrolling. Applet conventions:
input: supports lists with comma delimiters: "fluorine.jpg" "ridi6.jpg,fluorine.jpg,lena.jpg" If only one image, no selection list will appear. imageFilter: default is iir blurring, see SApplet01 for filter supported codes showOriginal: 0 shows only results, 1 shows image+results Applet bounds is used to compute scrolling areas.
