(This is a book in Romanian on algorithms and programming contest strategies. It is written in LaTeX and TikZ. The original dates from 1997 and was written in Word. I converted the figures, formulae and tables and fixed some typos, but left the text and code untouched (for better or worse).)

__Psihologia concursurilor de informatic__ este o carte de algoritmi, structuri de date i probleme de programare, publicat n 1997 la Editura L\&S Infomat. n 20 de ani s-au schimbat multe. Materia predat s-a schimbat mult. Concursurile s-au schimbat mult. Limbajele C i C++ au nlocuit aproape complet limbajul Pascal la concursuri. Mai ales, eu cel de acum nu mai sunt de acord cu unele principii, moduri de exprimare i stiluri de programare din aceast carte. Totui, ocazional lumea mi mai cere o copie a ei i m simt jenat s le trimit un fiier Word (apropo de principii). De aceea, am adus formatul la zi i am republicat cartea sub o licen liber. Am pstrat tot coninutul original, reparnd doar greelile evidente de tipar i convertind formatul la LaTeX i imaginile la TikZ/PGF (cuvntul miglos” abia ncepe s descrie aceste conversii).
