# H4XORNewsiOS H4XORNewsiOS is an iOS application designed for Hacker News enthusiasts. It was developed using SwiftUI and fetches the most recent and popular articles from an API. The app presents articles in a ListView, allowing users to navigate to corresponding Detail Views by selecting an article. ## Technologies Used Throughout the development of this app, I acquired and reinforced understanding across several learning domains, encompassing: - A foundational understanding of SwiftUI and its various functionalities. - Review of Networking, JSON Decoding, and URLSession. - Incorporating UIKit components like WebKit into SwiftUI. - Advanced state management using the Observer design pattern. - Observable Object and Observed Object protocols, @Published attribute, and @State property wrappers. - Creating a SwiftUI-based List View with nav links to a Detail View. - Transforming iPhone and iPad apps into Mac apps using Mac Catalyst. - Z-Stacks, H-Stacks, and V-Stacks, and Identifiable protocol. - Utilizing a Navigation Stack for structured Navigation Flow. ## Installation & How to Run this Project To run this project, ensure you have Xcode installed on your machine and follow these steps: 1. Clone the repository to your local machine. (Click on the green "Code" button at the top, then "Download ZIP". Once downloaded, unzip the file and proceed to Step 2.) 2. Open the project file in Xcode and click the "play" triangle button in the Xcode toolbar, or use the keyboard shortcut Command-R. 3.
