This version of the SOAP distributed application has been modified to run on a single machine (which has an Internet connection).
In order to run it:
- created a folder off wwwroot called distapp_single
- copy soap_client.asp, soap_server.asp and soapExample.dll into the newly created distapp_single folder
- register the SOAPExample.dll
- use your IE5 (or later) browser to browse http://localhost/distapp_single/soap_client.asp
When you click "submit":
- the client page creates the SOAP message and sends it to SOAP_Server.asp
- SOAP_Server.asp spins up the COM object
- the COM object posts the SOAP message to the mfg_order.asp file, which is hosted at Wrox.com
