MyView 1.0 example application by Forum Nokia Copyright Nokia Corporation 20.11.2002 Introduction: MyView example application illustrates how to build your own GUI using view architecture and how to use external applications' views. There is an emphasis on view switching and message passing. Functionality: View 1 menu commands activate local view 2. Second and third commands also send a message id and a message with the activation command. View 2 menu commands activate views of external applications. These are system applications. Some of them do not come with the emulator, and therefore work only on the device. Additional comments: The initial content of the application was created with Nokia Series 60 Application Wizard. It is recommended to use Nokia Series 60 Application Wizard, because it saves time and applies good coding conventions automatically. If the application is not running, the Phonebook application in the focused view returns to the list of contacts. Infomessages are used to show functionality. They work only in the emulator, not in the device. An installation packet is added for convenience. The application has been tested on Nokia 7650.
