Hi all, just wanted to say a quick goodbye (to XBMC development). I've had a new job since the start of the year which is very much 'in the industry' and makes it very unwise for me to continue working on projects such as XBMC. That combined with very little free time and a bunch of other things going on means its time for me to leave. I've had some half working tv listing code sat on my harddrive for months now so I thought it was only right to hand that over to you here. It imports XMLTV files into a database and shows it in a list view. It also lets you set shows as 'favourites' and list all instances of those in the database. Theres a very broken table type view thing as well. As a lot of the codebase has probably changed since I stopped I'm not sure how much help it'll be. I had hoped to add a nice interface that would let people write code to set a PC running something like freevo or mythTV to record but didn't get that far (Freevo seems the most friendly as the record server can run without the UI), or simply write python- scripts for XBMC to grab the listings in XMLTV format to then display. If there are any questions about any of it I'll do my best to help but I'm sure many of you are smarter than me anyway Thanks for the fantastic application you've all created and continue to develop.
