FILES ----- skeylink.dll Dynamic Library as software interface between software packages and SMARTKEY. smartkeyvbnet.vb VB NET wrapper to dynamic library SKEYLINK.DLL. AssemblyInfo.vb FormSKNet.vb Source Files written by VB NET language holding same examples about calls for the function smartlink( ), held into the dynamic Library SKEYLINK.DLL. FormSKNet.resx Resource file in XML-based resource format. smartdem.* Project files of the application. smartdem.exe Executable program concerning the interface with the key SMARTKEY. NOTES ----- The herein enclosed files are an example about how to use the SMARTKEY with the dynamic library SKEYLINK.DLL. The program example_skstandalone.exe makes a key access in 'locating mode' and finally in 'reading mode'. In order to use correctly the dynamic library the following operations are necessary. - Carefully read the SMARTKEY user manual and highlight the best interface modes for your application. Into the manual it is described the access function to the key smartlink() that is part of the dynamic library SKEYLINK.DLL. All the key accesses are done by this function. - Include the file smartkeyvbnet.vb into the project that use the the function smartlink(). The file is an interface to dynamic library SKEYLINK.DLL. - Insert into your VB NET program the calls to the function smartlink() as shown in the program FormSKNet.vb. - Compile the program. - Insert into the release package the dynamic library SKEYLINK.DLL.
