(he overall performances of EBPSK(Extended binary phase shift keying) modulation and LFM(Linear frequency modulation) radar systems are compared. First, the target detection performance base on CFAR(Constant False Alarm Rate) of two systems are analyzed under several conditions. As the time-delay is relatively large, the detection performance of EBPSK modulation radar system is better than LFM radar system.
