This is a collection of m-files I created to complete a research project into the DC components of various encoding techniques. The files generate random sequences of bits valued at '0' and '1' that conform to the coding restraint. Because the codes are defined differently between NRZ and NRZI (change at transitions), two files to convert between the two are also provided. The documentation with each file tells if it's an NRZ or NRZI code. An addition file will convert NRZ data to what a magnetic read head would show (-1, 0, and 1).
