Origin of Source ---------------- All YAFFS source is pulled from this site http://www.aleph1.co.uk/armlinux/projects/yaffs/ The web CVS repository is located at: http://www.aleph1.co.uk/armlinux/cvsuse.html To Repull the Source (quoted straight from the above site) ------------------------------------------------------------ If you want to use cvs directly then public read-only access is available, using the pserver mechanism. Execute the following (bash) commands to set environment variables, (or their equivalent for other shells): export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.aleph1.co.uk:/home/aleph1/cvs cvs logon (Hit return when asked for a password) cvs checkout (see below for module names) In this case = "yaffs". Changes -------- The kernel source located in this repository was integrated in the PPC linux 2.4.21-pre2-cerf1 kernel. Changes to the source include the use of the ECC code previously in the kernel. Building the utilities ----------------------- The only thing currently supported for building in this repository is the mkyaffs and mkyaffsimage utilities. A softlink must be present at /usr/src/kernel-headers-2.4.21 that points to your kernel directory. You may need to edit the CROSS env variable in ./utils/Makefile if you are cross compiling. To build, cd to utils directory and type make.
