GBIOS Release Notes 0.2: 16 Nov 2000 First Public Release Supports AG Electronics TPE4 and Motorola Sandpoint (with Altimus PMC). GBIOS currently can load an ELF file and execute it. The ELF file is normally a Linux kernel. The ELF file can be loaded by tftp through an AMD PCnet ethernet, or on TPE4 by a host processor communicating through the mailbox registers of the 21554. GBIOS currently runs at virtual address 0x80000000, allowing the code to reside in ROM if initial RAM tests fail.
