FlashFX Sample Project for the ARM Integrator 926 This project is designed to be used with the ARM Integrator 926 platform in combination with Wind River VxWorks 6.1. The FIM has been defined in ffxconf.h as FFXFIM_iff2x16 which is correct for the Intel 2x16 FlashFile flash used in this platform. Before building this project you must edit the ffxconf.h file and specify the correct flash window address and size that you wish to use. ---------[ Changing ToolSets ]--------- This project is preconfigured to use the "gnuvx6x" ToolSet. Write 30 ? Rewrite 25 ? /RAND Read 106 ? Write 16 ? Results are in KB/second. In all cases FSIOTEST was run with the /Max:3072 parameter to use a maximum of 3MB of the disk. Reliance was configured to transact on close, flush, disk-full, dismount, and power-down conditions. It is important to note that performance results will vary with disk size when using flash media. Smaller disk sizes, combined with larger erase zone sizes will naturally result in a higher percentage of flash compaction operations for a given amount of data written.
