cEdit Code Editor By Ackbar (AckSoft) cEdit is a very simplistic code editor. The reason it was created was because I love notepad for working on a ton of things, including html, c/c++ files, etc, but it's to slow to use, and no syntax highlighting. So cEdit was created. It's extremly lightweight like notepad, but much more powerful. Some small hints for using cEdit. For those of you wondering about syntax highlighting you can achieve it one of 2 ways. From the options menu, under syntax you can select the language. Or the editor will automaticly determine the language you wish to use by the file extension. BTW this help file was written in cEdit :) You might also note the line numbering which is included with cEdit. Notepad obviously does not include this feature (which can be extremly helpful when editing code). It can be turned off though if you do not like it. I hope to maybe include an ftp client in future versions of cEdit. We will see :) Anyway thats about it for now :P For those of you wondering the textbox is from winmain software. It's called codemax. It's a free control. http://www.winmain.com to pick it up. Great piece of coding. I highly recomend it :)
