Dear All,
Code is developed with SDCC running under Linux and Makefile for GNU Make is
included.
You can compile the code in Windows in the MS-DOS prompt.
We recommend using SDCC version 2.4.0 as there seems to be some problems
with memory allocation with SDCC 2.5.0. THIS OVERRIDES our previous
recommendation to use SDCC2.5.0
For compilation I have generated MSDOS .BAT files that should be run from
the MS-DOS Command Prompt under Windows.
SDCC 2.4.0 must be installed and found from the PATH of the machine.
Instructions:
1) Install SDCC 2.4.0 from the installation exe:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sdcc/sdcc-2.4.0-setup.exe?download
2) Click all default buttons in the installer.
Make sure you answer "Yes" when the installer asks if SDCC should be
added to the path.
3) Copy the attached .BAT files to the C SOURCE folder that has the
projects .c files such as "board.c" etc.
4) Start the MS-DOS Command Prompt and go to the C SOURCE directory,
e.g. cd \playercode\src
5) To compile for VS1003 (evakit pcb version 2.5), type MAKE1003 and for
VS1011 in older PCB type MAKE1011
6) Email me about the success/failure so I know if it works for someone
else besides me.
When more source files are added in the project, add the new names to the
link sdcc command in make1003.bat.
