Please Install Media Player Classic and Winamp then Run RRConfig before using. MediaCar is NOT required to run this application, but you should have at least one FULL skin installed + a Launch Folder (included) for it to work correctly. Media Player Classic is currently used as "internal" DVD player. Must be set if using radiator. radiomode=0|1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8 (0=Radiator, 1 = Dlink, 2 = Cinergy 600, 3 = WinTV, 4 = HQCT, 5=Blaupunkt, 6=RadioShark, 7=Silabs, 8=HD Radio) Defines the radio interface to use. 2 and 3 require specific folders in RR's path (Cinergy and WinTV). radioline=MIXERLINE Mixer Audio line (NUMBER) to UnMute/Mute when enterin/exiting radio mode. seeklevel=0|1|2|3 Define the level of tuning desired for the seek/search operation (Cinergy). 0 finds more stations but also finds noise/interference. 3 finds only finds strong signals. userbds=false|true Define the format of PTY data. False for RDS (World). True for RBDS (USA). playlistpath=PATH\ Path to save playlist files (.M3U) that you make in RR. You should save them somewhere under your Music Path in order to access them with the audio browser. lazytag=true|false Defer loading of ID3 tags to idle times (Much like winamp does). Faster specially when loading large numbers of songs on to the playlist at once. forcehibernate=true|false Use Force Hibernate procedure -- will hibernate even if a hardware/port is trying to prevent it. vcomport= Voltmeter COM port (Mauri's voltmeter project at www.mp3car.com) Will read anything in the format: "V1 XXXX.XX" (+ End of line, no quotes) uselineinplugin=true|false Use The Line in Plugin for Radio (If your sound card doesn't play from the line-in input line automatically) lineinpar= Parameters used for the line in plugin for Radio. browsertype=0|1 Defines the web browser you're using. You can also change a variable of the same name during runtime in order to obtain other weather using RELOADWEATHER. weatherunits=USA|WORLD Units used for weather (USA = F, World = C) screenlimit= How many screens to keep in memory at any given time. Minimun of 3. Some cheap video card/drivers will start loosing imaging information when trying to store a lot of imagery in the memory, this prevents that from happening, by ensuring RR will unload/reload screens after a certain limit. nozoom=true|false Prevents the ZOOM feature from being used in the Video Player (also hides the Green Text with the Zoom mode). ipoddrive= Defines which drive the iPod is setup to be accessed from. If the iPod Files are found on this drive, RR will display iPod related entries on the audio browser. soundcard=0|N (0=Use default mixer, N=Use the N mixer number) Defines which sound card to use in case you have more than one in your system. phidgetX= Offset/calibration of phidget sensors. X defines the sensor number (1-8) and the offset is added/subtracted from the original reading values before processing of the phidgets data. pathlimit=true|false Limit path from backing out of music/video folder ? (default=true). enableclipping=true|false False=Prevents RR from scanning images for transperency areas -- faster load times. Default=True (Scan for transparency). Disabling (False) this setting will prevent screens from taking different shapes by using PINK imagery. leavemousealone=true|false|never Prevents RR from moving the mouse on keypresses (true). Forces mouse to be reposition on keypress & screen change (never). usegestures=true|false Allow mouse/touchscreen gestures -- default ON (true) resolution=WIDTHxHEIGHT[xBPP[xFREQ]] Allows RR to run on specified resolution -- only the ones supported in control panel work. Simply specify the Width and Height of the desired reslolution. You can also specify the BPP (Bits per pixel) and the Refresh Rate (Frequency) of the display. BPP Parameter is optional but you MUST specify it if you specify a Frequency. usecar2pc=true|false Enables/Disables Car2PC Interface support (www.indashpc.org) fastmode=0|1|2 Use faster screen loadings -- default OFF (0) On faster machines it is suggested that you leave it =0. On slower machines with plenty of memory, it may improve performance to toggle it ON ( =1 ). On VERY slow machines you can use fast redraw (poor quality) to improve performance a little more ( =2 ). When ON (1-2) memory usage is severely wasted to improve performance. Typical memory usages are (for 5 screens): FastMode: 33Mb DefaultMode: 18Mb -- Loading times depend upon hardware setup. usedualmon=true|false Use Dual monitor support -- this code was added by MatrixPC, so you should check the forums at mp3car.com to find out how to use it and what all it does. Default=false (single monitor) usevoicecontrol=true|false Use Built in Voice Control -- this code was added by whodwho, so you should check the forums at mp3car.com to find out how to use it and what all it dows. Default=false (no built-in voice control) musicbrowse= By Adding this line to RR.INI, RR will keep track of the last used folder in the audio browser and restore it when restarting (instead of starting from your music folder at first). This setting will be modified by RR. videobrowse= By Adding this line to RR.INI, RR will keep track of the last used folder in the video browser and restore it when restarting (instead of starting from your video folder at first). This setting will be modified by RR. preload=.skin; This allows you to pre-load specific screens when launching RR. You can add as many 'preload=' lines as you desire, but keep in mind this will increase the time necessary to load RR. It does however reduce considerably the time it takes to launch a screen for the first time -- virtually to the same time it takes when it's already loaded. The Description parameter is optional. Example: preload=mixer.skin;Loading Mixer... usbsound=true|false This tells RR to wait and restart the mixer when resuming from Hibernation. Mainly used to improve support of USB Sound cards. Default=false (use standard sound card). usegpsserv=true|false This tells RR to try and use the GPSServ application as source of GPS data. GPSServ is an application that allows multiple applications to read from the GPS through a shared component. transition=-1-10 This tells RR what is the default transition to use when switching Screens Values are: -1=Disabled (Default), 0=Fade, 1-9=Different Slide/Clipping effects), 10=Random (between 0 and 9) Skinners have the option to use specific effect when transitioning between screens, those options DO override the default setting. fadeimages=true|false This tells RR to use image fading when switching album art, cover art, pictures etc. Fading is only available in Windows 2000, XP & Above. Default is FALSE. winampclass= playerid= This tells RR to launch winamp with the specified class name and only interact/control that specific instance of winamp. For other players, this tells RR which instance of the player to control (if supported by the player). By specifying this setting you should be allowed to run multiple RR copies which control their independent copy of winamp. ignative=true|false This tells RR to embed iGuidance in RR's screen (better looking with improved funcionality). Set it to false (default) if you use other iGuidance enhancers like SkinBedder etc. gasfinderautorefresh=true|false Auto refresh gas price data based on the location when Zip code changes when called from MapPoint skin. gpstime=true|false Auto Sync computer's time with GPS receiver time (Based on windows time zone setting) (default=false) gpsusadate=true|false Defines the format of the date prov ... ...
