IP Address editor v0.3 Nothing very fancy, just a way to get IP addresses into your programs. I was trying to be as minimal as possible given that the examples I found on PlanetSourceCode seemed more complicated than necessary. One example came with 21 files! (6 Mods and the CTL file for starters!) Plenty can be added to this. I was thinking about returning the IP as a long, HEX or Binary, adding notation for netmasks, etc. but we 'll leave that for version 1.0 For those wondering what this is for: Have you ever set your IP address in Network Neighborhood or while setting a static address for your modem? There is a neat widget that Microsoft has to ensure that your IP address is well formated. While the control is free with Visual Studio, it's well, BIG. And while other web sites have gone through all kinds of trouble to ensure you and we can access the IP control through the API with out loading the control. ( hi ccrp guys) It still needs comctl32.dll v4.71 or higher which you may or may not have. What's more this is straight VB which is always cool right? Learn to use split too.
