8/10/99 Ilan Papini Source files and boat creation sample -------------------------------------- This sample includes all the source files required for creating a new boat for Virtual Sailor 3. The source files are in 3ds format and can be edited and viewed using 3D modelling programs as 3D studio or 3D studio Max. To use this sample run the small batch file make.bat and let it convert the 3DS files into x files and move them into the new_boat directory. Then copy the new_boat directory into Virtual Sailor and test the new boat. Notes about the 3DS files: -------------------------- The Boat.3ds and Lights.3ds files are built in true location in 3D model space, the other files such as Wheel.3ds , Prop.3ds etc.. are all placed around (0,0,0) in 3D model space so that their position is given by the boat.cfg file.
