3ds2XML is a free tool for converting the "3DS" format 3D model files into Cast3D .x3c xml file. Its main goal is to simplify the creation of 3DS import and export filters. This project is not related in any form to Autodesk Inc. 3ds library toolkit by Jan Eric Kyprianidis is used for this project.
