------------------------------------------------------------------ CP2201 Evaluation Kit Source Code Release Notes Copyright (C) 2006 Silicon Laboratories, Inc. ----------------------------------------------------------------- DESCRIPTION ------------ This software example contains all the building blocks in the CP2201 Evaluation Board. The software has been ported to an 'F34x + AB4 Target Board to ease programming and development. Below are the projects included: CP2201EK_AB4_STD - The CP2201EB Firmware ported to an 'F340+AB4 Target Board. CP2201EK_AB4_DBG - The "CP2201EK_AB4_STD" project converted to use the debug libraries. The debug libraries allow printing messages to a UART terminal to aid in debugging application code. CP2201EK_AB4_BL - The "CP2201EK_AB4_STD" project re-located at address 0x2400 to allow use as a firmware image with the bootloader. HEX2IMG - A PC application to convert a hex file of a re-located project (e.g. CP2201_AB4_BL) to an img file. NETFINDER - A PC application that allows searching for embedded systems on a network. See AN237 and AN292 for more information about Netfinder. F34x_Ethernet_Bootloader - The bootloader source code ported to the 'F340+AB4 Target Board. KNOWN ISSUES AND LIMITATIONS ---------------------------- 1.) Firmware works with the Keil C51 tool chain. Version 5.15.0.1 or later of BL51 must be used to link into the TCP/IP library. 2.) The firmware projects require a full version of the Keil Compiler. 3.) The PC applications require MS Visual C++ 6.0 or compatible development environment.
