In this paper, the full range of problems un-derlyingtheshadowdetectionareidenti?edanddiscussed.Weclassifytheproposedsolutionstothisproblemusingaaxonomyoffourmainclasses, calleddeterministicmodeland non-model based and statistical parametric and non-parametric.
