----------------- ECODYNAMICA 1.1 ----------------- 1. What is Ecodynamica? Ecodynamica is the general tool of 1 and 2-dimensional cellular automata (CAs). The available rules are: State per cell 2,3 for 1-d CAs and 2 for 2-d CAs Neighbor 3,5,7 and 9 neighbors for 1-d CAs, and 5 and 9 neighbors for 2-d CAs 2. What do you need to execute Ecodynamica? The Ecodynamica is executed on Matlab (ver. 5) environment. 3. How to start Ecodynamica? a. Start Matlab b. set this directoty at the Matlab Path c. In the Matlab prompt, type "eco", and you will see the menus. 4. Tips a.
